Tharabar Gate / Old City Wall and Moat

It was the first time built of the city wall and moat with bricks because there were only built with bamboo and wood before. The city wall is one square mile with 12 gates, every royal family lived inside the city wall but among 12 gates only Saraba gate is the only one left in good condition and it was guarded by the bother and sister Nats.
The one on left is the brother Mg Tinde or Mr. Handsome and the right is the sister Shwemyatnar or the lady with golden face.
They are still powerfull because we have to show the novices to be these Nats foe safety everything durning the noviciation ceremony. And also whenever if we bought new vehicle car or motorbike we must come offer flowers and bananas to the Nats for safety for vehicle.
